I live on Whidbey Island in the state of Wa. It is truely a special place. Part of what makes the area so beautiful is the overall abundance of nature's bounty. Part of that is the knowledge that the salmon spawn in many small creeks and waterways that ultimately lead then to Puget Sound. It is my belief that the energy resources of dams has been a necessary "evil" in the ever growing populations of the North West. Now tho' more then ever, we need to concentrate on viable alternatives and secure our waterways and fish for generations to come.
