Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

We need much more clean energy for the Northwest and Nuclear is not clean so I am talking about wind, solar and conservation. Conservation is not getting anywhere near the attention it deserves. We have new technology that allows for vastly reducing out energy usage. Conservation also greatly reduces the cost associated with infrastructure (power line) construction, making electriciy more affordable. Conservation also includes mass transit. We should also include in power plans the destruction of several dams so we can have more salmon on our tables. This is especially important to those of us without jobs. This loss can be made up with conservation and alternative energy. Tidal energy and geothermal also need to be looked into, Respectfully, Joe Newman
