Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

This plan should focus upon four priorities. 1. Improve energy conservation; 2. Support renewable energy production; 3. Make certain that any increase in renewable energy production is matched by a commensurate reduction of traditional carbon based production. Filling open spaces with windmills is not benign. and, 4. Set in place significant financial incentives and disincentives that result in greater investment in numbers one, two and three. This is not a challenge that can be solved by simply producing more. The objective should be to produce the same amount or less, produce this amount in a much more "sustainable" manner, and use what we have much more wisely. These things are not addressed adequately in the current plan.
