Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

Council Members: Couldn't make the hearing, but want you to know that, in my view, global warming is a much, much bigger deal than people at the moment believe. Most of us are still comfortably in denial, including myself. But the more I contemplate the probable effects of major storms, population displacements and pressures,the devastation to highly vulnerable cultures like the Inuits, not to mention the pressure on all kinds of interdependent species within ecosystems (not to mention our Montana trout streams!), the more concerned I become. Clean coal technology seems to me like a small price to pay for the mitigation of greenhouse gas emission that it would provide. Personally, I would be willing to pay higher prices for energy, even much higher prices, to gain that mitigation. Thank you for your efforts to gather public opinion. Sincerely, Robin Carey
