Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

I'd like to applaud the Council's recommendations to meet new electricity needs over the next 20 years with no net increase in greenhouse gas emissions, investing in efficiency, and promoting renewable energy. However, I urge the Council to go farther and adopt aggressive, concrete targets for a reduction in co2 emissions over the next twenty years. The Pacific Northwest is a leader in green technologies and a plan to reduce emissions will maintain that leadership, become a model for other regions, push innovation, and create thousands of new green jobs. Thank you for your leadership on this critical issue.
