I applaud your goal of meeting all new electricity needs over the next 20 years with no net increase in greenhouse gas emissions and no new fossil-burning power plants. In particular, with the aggressive installation of new energy efficiency upgrades to the current system and the reliance on renewable energy sources rather than fossil fuel energy sources for all new power generation facilities, the Northwest should set a goal to be the leading region in the reduction of greenhouse gases in the U.S.
