Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the Draft Sixth Power Plan. There is no discussion on the economics of geothermal heat pumps and their potential benefits to meeting the Region's energy efficiency goals. The Final Plan would benefit from a detailed discussion on this technology and its cost and benefits to the citizens of the Pacific Northwest. The technology can get the deep energy savings - and, in the long term, can provide much needed capacity savings - that the Council seeks.
