Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

Dear Northwest Power and Conservation Council, I am very concerned about climate change. I believe that the costs in cash and intangibles that more volatile weather will incur are far greater than the cost of mitigation measures. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Please do everything you can in the 6th Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including: Set strong targets for energy efficiency. Phase out power plants that burn coal. Set strong targets for renewable energy. Set a baseline price estimate for carbon. Set regional goals to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Sincerely, Dave Streeter
