Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

Thank you for considering my comments. In the NWPCC final plan, I feel strongly that the following should be reflected in the final NWPCC plan: At the top of my list is that coal-fired power plants be truly phased out; we must evolve into cleaner energy technology. Along these lines, CO2 emissions must be reduced, following the lead of three states. A strong incentive I support, which will account for the future cost of CO2 emissions, is the inclusion of a baseline price estimate for carbon. The plan must support strong energy efficiency and renewable energy targets. It is time to do what's right for our present and for our future.
