The notion that we have the right to deplete the natural resources of planet Earth for the convenience of our generation, and the next one or two, could be characterized as criminal. It is to be expected that our descendants will place great value on such components of our planet. For this reason, among others, please move our energy policies away from exploitation of coal and oil, and note that oil fields in Alaska should be guarded for future generations.
