Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

I attended the NW Council hearing in Eugene, and I was pleased by the emphasis on conservation. Thank you for your work. My great hope is that the Council will further Oregon's move to clean energy and clean skies by truly reducing greenhouse emissions and cut our ties to coal. With proper conservation and other efforts, we will better manage without this giant carbon dioxide producer than we will with it--in any form. The small amount of energy the Boardman plant produces, and the enormous amount of emissions produced there, make this monolith not worth preserving. Let's get smart for real! Thank you.
