Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

Northwest Power and Conservation Council: Thank you for your outstanding effort regarding energy efficiency and a new focus on renewable sources. I hope you will agree that this is the appropriate time to eliminate coal from the power system. It is a finite source of energy that has outlived its purpose. Continued use of coal only dilutes the efforts of your group as well as the many citizen organizations that have worked long and hard to finally rid ourselves of the handicap that fossil fuels present. Once again, thank you for your dedication. You are one step away from giving cleaner air to us all.
