I do appreciate that the power plan includes provisions for energy efficiency and renewable energy. These are important features. However, I would like to see you go a step further by phasing out beginning now energy that is produced by coal. Our coal fired plant is responsible for much of our pollution including CO2. I believe your plan must also include CO2 reduction in order to comply with Oregon's law to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 75% of 1990 levels by 2050.
