Oregon has a history of progressive environmental regulations, established in recognition of our outstanding landscapes. I believe further development of coal burning power plants in our state would be detrimental to the natural resources of our state. It makes much more sense to explore renewable energy sources, such as tapping wind, solar and tidal energies for our needs. Please vote against development of coal or nuclear energy production.
