Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this plan, which for a large part is a surprisingly progressive plan. I strongly support the components that deal with renewables and conservation, while adding the caveat that they should go further. As a "net metering" customer in cloudy Western Washington, I can attest at first hand to the success of dispersed renewable and conservation initiatives. If it works so well for me, here, then additional effort, especially in sunnier areas should be an absolute priority. The Plan makes progress on salmon recovery, but needs to be stronger. Our opportunities to restore salmon will only get less from here on out if we mainatin the current half-hearted policies. The science is clear that removal of the four Lower Snake River dams is our last, best, and perhaps only remaining chance to avoid extinction. This is not an option, it is clearly required by law.
