Draft Sixth Power Plan Comment

To the members of the NPCC: Thank you for the opportunity to provide my input on the 6th Power Plan. Thanks for your work to come up with a plan to meet the electricity needs of the Northwest with conservation and renewable energy sources. I would like to encourage you to take this plan further and develop it faster. Specifically, I would like to see: More energy conservation than the Draft Plan targets, especially within the first 5 years. A clear plan for salmon recovery that includes the removal of the 4 lower Snake River dams to prevent the extinction of endangered wild salmon. Phasing out carbon-emitting coal plants.
